Yes (in most cases)

You can check if your mobile phone number is portable by using our Service Coverage Tool. For instructions go here.

The process of moving phone numbers from one telephone service provider to another is called Line Number Porting (LNP).

To begin the LNP process you need to complete and return a signed Letter of Agency or Letter of Authorization (LOA).  The LOA for wireless phone numbers should include the wireless account number, the account PIN code and the last 4 digits of the primary account holder's social security number.  The completed LOA provides Key 2 IP with the necessary authorization to port phone numbers away from the current telephone service provider to our network.

The LNP process generally takes between 1-2 weeks to complete as long as all information listed on the LOA is  accurate.  If the LNP order is rejected the LOA will need to be corrected and the order will be resubmitted.
