Can I use SIP Trunks on my analog phone system?

Modified on Thu, Jul 27, 2017 at 6:00 PM

Yes

Although legacy analog phone systems do not have a way to connect SIP directly, you may still be able to take advantage of the flexibility SIP has to offer.  An Integrated Access Device can be used to convert SIP signaling into analog lines or as a Primary Rate Interface (PRI/T1) providing a method to connect low cost SIP lines to your legacy telephone system.
